In 1965 our father Burkard Bovensiepen founded ALPINA, a company which committed itself passionately to the development and production of extraordinary automobiles. Automobiles for connoisseurs that feature luxurious and comfortable interiors, superior driving performance and a subtle, sporty exterior. Elegant understatement has always characterised our products, a philosophy that remains unchanged to this day.
Special limited edition models from ALPINA always enjoy great popularity. The first to have done so were the B7 S Turbo models from 1981 with altogether 90 examples.
The 3.5 litre 6-cylinder turbo engine with 330 hp provided unparalleled performance while the newly introduced exclusive paint finishes ALPINA Blue and Green remain a popular option to this day. Like other special limited edition models that followed suit, the B7 S Turbo models are now legendary collector cars.
